What organizations and programs are you involved with in the Richmond community?

“I am involved in the Youth Ministry Advisory Team through the Baptist General Convention of Virginia.”

Are you employed or in school? If yes, where?

“I am employed by Henrico County Public Schools as an Exceptional Education Teacher working with students with Intellectual Disabilities and pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.”

How are you capable – what things do you do best?

“I am a person that can give encouragement in a tough situation to anyone and remind them that the Best is yet to come no matter the circumstance and being who they are if they just believe.”

What do you want people to know about you?

“I want people to know that I was born three months premature I am not supposed to be here been through many challenges having Cerebral Palsy, that the odds have been against me my whole life, but I have not given up. I have achieved many accolades and I continue to beat the odds every day.”

If you could plan the perfect day, where would you go?

“If I could plan a perfect day, I would plan a cruise for myself or go sit on the beach and enjoy the waves and being able to relax while spending time with family.”

What do you like best about living in the Richmond area?

“I like best is that I am near I-95 and can get to everything and not too far away from things such as Downtown Richmond and other places.”

What goals do you have for the future?

“My future goals are to complete my Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University and become a hospital Chaplain.”
