What organizations and programs are you involved with in the Richmond community?

“I work every day in my business, Emily’s Bracelets (emilysbracelets.com). I work to maintain our stock daily, so we are able to fill online orders as they come in on my website. I also go to public engagements all around the Richmond area that have invited me and my business to appear. Outside of my business, I enjoy competing with the Special Olympics. My favorite sport in the Special Olympics is Bocce. I have also participated in the softball toss and the mini javelin throw. I have also recently become involved with the Friendship Circle and a support group for people with Cerebral Palsy at Sheltering Arms.”

Are you employed or in school? If yes, where?

“I graduated from Monacan High School in June 2020, and I started working in my business in October 2018.”

How are you capable – what things do you do best?

“I am VERY persistent, and I rarely give up before a task is completed. I am very good at stringing beads, and I thrive on the joy that my bracelets bring to others. I love making people smile.”

What do you want people to know about you?

“I am a very genuine person and can easily see the good in others. I am very accepting of everyone, and I love to make people happy.”

If you could plan the perfect day, where would you go?

“To the North Pole to spend the day with Santa and his elves. Hopefully, Frosty, Rudolph, and Peppa Pig would be there as well.”

What do you like best about living in the Richmond area?

“The thing I like the best about the Richmond area is the people. The people here are so kind and caring.”

What goals do you have for the future?

“I would like to continue to grow my business and give back to my community.”
