What organizations and programs are you involved with in the Richmond community?
“Jacob’s Chance, Beyond Boundaries, Best Buddies, Night to Shine.”
How are you capable – what things do you do best?
“I meet challenges with solutions and ways to overcome the obstacle. I start each day with a positive attitude and the willingness to try my best to succeed at whatever the day presents me with. I try to always be cheerful and kind.”
What do you want people to know about you?
“That I’m just a regular person, I just happen to be in a wheelchair. I’m friendly but shy at first but quickly warm to new acquaintances. I love being and participating in any activities/sports outside. Such as; snow skiing, hiking, cooking class, horseback riding, riding ATV’s, jet skis, boating, fishing, rafting and one of my favorites rock climbing. I love my quiet time, relaxing and listening to music and working puzzles.”
If you could plan the perfect day, where would you go?
“To my family farm and spend the day with family and friends with all the big kid toys. Ending with a campfire. OR having a meet and greet with Luke Bryan or Kane Brown.”
What do you like best about living in the Richmond area?
“Richmond is centrally located. We’re 2 hours to the beach, 2 hours to DC, we’ve got mountains and the mighty James River with its class 5 rapids running through the city. Exploring historic sites and its haunted history.”
What goals do you have for the future?
“The goal that would bring me the most joy and happiness in life is to work full time, live independently and drive.”
